Although influenced by many things in her life, Rosa owes her traveling success to a simple idea she had many years ago. One that many people may have constantly but fail to act on; the insatiable desire to experience somewhere else.
With that in mind, she set about her native Peru. And it was there, on an hours long bus ride, she would sit next to, and very soon fall in love with, a native of a different sort, the corn-husking sort, a tried and true American Nebraskan.
This unlikely love brought new beginnings in Santa Fe, NM where Rosa and her husband Gary currently call home. Rosa was so determined to add travel agent to her repertoire that she started cleaning the office of a local travel agency just to get in the door. That determination did not go unnoticed and soon she was officially designated the title of travel agent.
From there, Rosa was able to finely tune her English and communication skills but most importantly, she was able to showcase her seemingly gifted ability to go above and beyond all definitions of client relations. With a strong passion for helping people along with her newly developed bilinguality, Rosa was quick to flourish into a new realm of possibilities, one in which she could not only experience the multitude of gifts the world has to offer, but share them intimately with the groups of people she would take with her.
Thus, Journeys International was born, a place where once in a lifetime dreams are shared and where those desires to travel and experience another place can finally find their peace.
